Throughout the day we frequently pause to evaluate the situation. These times are some of the most enjoyable moments of our day, we discuss many things and occasionally discuss the customers car.
In this action shot we are seriously wondering what we're doing. The customer requested a new radiator cap. One by one we were evaluating each labeled cap to determine which one to replace.
Our customer requested an oil change, while looking for the oil filter we had to disassemble much of the front end. Turns out the oil filter is totally separate from steering components - luckily we charged time and material so no profit was impacted by this learning experience.
This is one of our unique immersive experiences. This is a customer performing his own work under our guidance. To his surprise, and ours, you do not need a grinder to install wiper blades. These are priceless moments for us and our customers. We have video of the customers surprise but are unable to show due to inappropriate content.
Some days are long, we know customers need their car - we also need a nap sometimes. If we don't answer the phone it may be because we're sleeping.
Customer needed a new u-joint here. After finding out what a u-joint was, we found an economical solutions. Note the electrical tape in the photo. By taping the u-joint we were able to leave work on time and bye the customer more time before actually fixing it. Stetler Garage ingenuity at work
